Robin Elliott, Daniel Gruner and Patricia Johnson join; Kerri Letersky promoted
KINGSTON, N.Y. - s4story -- Ryan & Ryan Insurance Brokers Inc. has hired three new employees and promoted a fourth as the agency continues to grow its services for families, businesses and farms in the mid-Hudson region. New staff members are Robin Elliott, Daniel Gruner and Patricia Johnson. Account manager Kerri Letersky has been promoted to supervisor.
"The additions to our team reflect our growth as a locally based resource that families, businesses and farms can turn to in order to protect the people and assets most important to them," said Robert J. Ryan, president of Ryan & Ryan Insurance Brokers Inc. "We are committed to remaining a trusted, personal point of contact for clients throughout the mid-Hudson Valley."
Gruner, a licensed insurance agent since 2003, holds life, accident and health as well as property and casualty insurance licenses. He has extensive experience working with school districts and with local distribution and manufacturing companies.

He is a former president of the Boys & Girls Club and a former board member of the Benedictine Health Foundation and founder of its annual Bike for Cancer Care 5K Run/Walk event. Through the former Rosemary D. Gruner Memorial Cancer Fund, he led his family's efforts for 18 years to support cancer patients in Ulster County, providing financial assistance to more than 3,000 local families. Gruner lives in Kingston with his son, Aidan.
Johnson joined Ryan & Ryan as a receptionist last October. She brings more than 25 years of administrative experience supporting organizations in a variety of industries. She is a licensed notary and a longtime Ulster County resident.
Elliott heads the agency's accounting department, succeeding Marc Reuben, who worked with Ryan for nearly 30 years. Elliott, who brings more than 25 years of accounting experience, joined Ryan & Ryan last March. A native of Kingston, she earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees from Marist College.
Letersky has been promoted to the position of supervisor. She has been an account manager at the agency and previously served as receptionist. Letersky became a licensed broker in 2015. She and her husband are raising their family in Kingston.
