NEW YORK - s4story -- Legit Productions, the leading film production company specializing in documentary films and docuseries about art in the United States, is pleased to announce the release of Season 5 of its Award-winning show "The Story of Art in America" on the occasion of the centennial of Route 66. The show is now streaming on Red Coral, the artist-forward network.
This new season explores the vibrant art scene of five cities along the iconic Route 66: Joliet, IL; Springfield, MO; Oklahoma City, OK; Vega, TX; and Santa Rosa, NM.
Directed by acclaimed Filmmaker Christelle Bois and produced by Executive Producer Pierre Gervois, Season 5 of The Story of Art in America has won the Best Documentary Award at the Critics Society Film Festival and the Best Series Award at the Atlanta Film Festival in 2026.
