Senior Helpers of Central Queens to Host Free Senior Veteran Resource Fair on June 5, 2026

QUEENS, N.Y. - s4story -- Senior Helpers of Central Queens, a leading provider of in-home senior care services across central Queens and surrounding communities, today announced it will host the Senior Veteran Resource Fair on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at VFW Post 2348, located at 31-35 41st Street, Astoria, NY 11103. Admission is completely free, rain or shine, with complimentary food and drinks provided for all attendees.
The event is designed to connect senior veterans in the Queens area with the resources, support networks, and community services they have earned and deserve. Attendees will have access to information on veterans' benefits, healthcare resources, home care support, and a wide range of community organizations dedicated to serving veterans.
"Our senior veterans have sacrificed so much for this country, and it is our duty to make sure they know what resources are available to them. As a Marine combat veteran myself, this mission is deeply personal. We want every senior veteran in Queens to walk away from this fair feeling supported, informed, and connected to the community that stands behind them."
