Sinatra Scholars Talk Frank and Grace Kelly at New Jersey Seaside Musical Film Event

AVON BY THE SEA, N.J. - s4story -- Karen Morris, producer/writer and founder of The Rat Pack Music Alliance, presents another swingin' special event to celebrate musical icon, Frank Sinatra.
The program, Remembering Frank Sinatra: A Swellegant Celebration, will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from Noon to 1:45 pm, indoors, at the Avon Municipal Building, 2 Main Street, Avon-by-the-Sea, New Jersey.
Honoring Frank Sinatra's 110th heavenly birthday, the event combines the spirit of the holidays along with an entertaining discussion by two extraordinary guest speakers, marvelous live music, and surprise gift giveaways.
Sinatra Scholars, Charles L. (Chuck) Granata (music producer, historian, author, and host of Sinatra Standard Time on KSDS-FM, on Jazz88.org), and Dana Polan (the Martin Scorsese Professor of Cinema Studies at New York University, who has taught about Frank Sinatra at NYU and lectured about him at Ohio State University and Notre Dame), will chat about the exceptional career of Frank Sinatra.

A portion of the fascinating talk will spotlight the film High Society, a 1956 romantic musical comedy starring Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Grace Kelly, and Louis Armstrong. (Photo shown, public domain, with director Charles Walters.)
For those unfamiliar with the film High Society, a short video synopsis as a tribute to High Society, narrated by Karen Morris, is posted on The Rat Pack Music Alliance YouTube Channel.
A nod to Frank Sinatra's dear pal, Sammy Davis, Jr., will be mentioned, as it will be Sammy's 100th Anniversary on December 8th, and Ms. Morris is writing an article as a special remembrance.
To round out the musical afternoon, Jazz Vocalist and Great American Songbook stylist, Zack Alexander, will perform popular Sinatra tunes and classic holiday favorites as part of the celebration.
