Socialhose Adds Snapchat, and Says the Rest of the Category Has Been Selling Coverage It Does Not Have
S For Story/10698723
483 million people use Snapchat every day. Open the coverage page of any major social listening suite and count how many of them are being listened to.
DALLAS - s4story -- Socialhose today added Snapchat as its seventh monitoring platform and used the launch to say what the social listening industry avoids: "full coverage" has quietly come to mean the six platforms that were convenient to build.
Snap Inc. reported 483 million daily and 956 million monthly active users in Q1 2026. Spotlight posters grew nearly 74% year over year in the US and over 61% globally. Spotlight is public, discovery-driven, and full of the brands, products, and narratives listening platforms claim to track.
For years, almost nobody watched it.
"The industry decided Snapchat did not count, then sold that decision back to customers as a complete product," said Mo, Founder of Socialhose. "A brand paying $25,000 a year is not told an entire public feed sits outside what it bought. It finds out from a screenshot, three days late."
Socialhose Starter is $149 per month, month to month, and now includes Snapchat.

What shipped
Snapchat Live Searches support two modes. Keyword mode follows a term across public Spotlight content. Account mode follows a named creator's public Spotlight feed. Both can run inside the same campaign.
Every collected post becomes a Mention with its author, engagement, media, and permalink, then receives the same AI enrichment as other platforms: sentiment, emotions, intent, entities, brand and topic extraction, image and video analysis, noise filtering, and semantic search. Existing Smart Alerts apply automatically.
Socialhose monitors public Spotlight only. Private Snapchat stays private. That is a boundary, not a limitation.
Availability and pricing
Snapchat is available today on all paid Social Listening plans and through the Developer API at no additional charge:
All plans are self-serve and month to month, with no setup fees or minimum term. Register at https://app.socialhose.net/register.
