INDIANAPOLIS - s4story -- Families looking for a fun summer evening in Indianapolis, Indiana are invited to join The Riviera Club Foundation on Friday, June 26, for a free outdoor screening of the adventure classic movie "The Goonies." Presented in partnership with Heartland Film, the event is open to the community.
Hosted on the grounds of The Riviera Club, 5640 North Illinois Street, gates will open at 5 p.m., with the movie beginning at 6:30 p.m. Guests will enjoy the film on a giant 17-foot by 10-foot LED screen while taking in one of Indianapolis' most historic family recreation destinations.
The evening is designed to offer something for everyone. Kids can participate in lawn games, use the playground and enjoy time with friends while parents relax, reconnect and relive the nostalgia of one of the most iconic family films of the 1980s.
Food, beverages, popcorn and other movie-night favorites will be available for purchase through Sahm's Hospitality Group, which operates food and beverage services at the club.

"This is more than a movie night," said Katie Moynihan Gray, president of the Foundation. "It's an opportunity for families to spend time together while we raise awareness that every child reached and every partnership formed moves us closer to a safer, healthier community for all."
The Foundation's mission is to provide water safety and wellness opportunities that empower people of all ages to learn to swim, build confidence and improve their health. In 2025, the Foundation served a record 1,812 individuals through swim lessons, water safety education and wellness programs. This community event will take place on the grounds at the Riviera Club and the Community Garden will be accessible, though the pool area will not be available.
