MARIETTA, Ga. - s4story -- The Strand Theatre Seeks Development Manager to Join Leadership Team
MARIETTA, GA | August 20, 2026 — The Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theatre is seeking a Development Manager to join its leadership team and oversee fundraising and community engagement efforts for the nonprofit performing arts organization.
The full-time position will serve as a member of The Strand's leadership team and will oversee a well-established contributed-revenue program supporting the organization's programming, operations, education initiatives, and continued preservation of its historic facility.
"The Development Manager is an important part of ensuring The Strand continues to grow and serve our community for years to come," said Gaines. "We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, connecting people with our mission, and finding new ways for individuals and organizations to be part of what happens here."
The Development Manager will work closely with donors, corporate partners, foundations, community stakeholders, staff, and The Strand's Board of Directors. Responsibilities include developing annual fundraising strategies, cultivating and stewarding supporters, pursuing grant opportunities, supporting board fundraising efforts, and strengthening The Strand's relationships throughout the community.
