The Super Awesome Activity Book: Exploring Diversity with Bilingual Drawing, Coloring, Games and Literacy by Edward Dennis

Edward Dennis is an award-winning artist, advocate, and author of The Boy From Mexico, which the California Education System has selected as a recommended read. The Boy From Mexico series includes The Boy From Mexico Becomes a Farmworker and The Boy From Mexico Becomes a U.S. Citizen, which tells the story of his grandfather, who traveled from Mexico to start a new life for his family. Each book tells an important part of his grandfather's story.

Notably, Edward has been invited to schools to read from his books and teach drawing classes for elementary school children. He's taught over 50,000 kids and counting. His special mix of hands-on instruction, storytelling, and real history is important, especially now in a contentious political climate. Dennis is on a mission to instill pride in Latinx kids, especially farmworker families and migrant children.
