The Tide Is Turning, and it Brings Change to Every Land and People in TIDEWATER by Emmie Mears
S For Story/10402137
Emmie Mears explores the themes of climate change through a fantasy lens in her progressive and critically acclaimed Stonebreaker series.
LIVONIA, Mich. - s4story -- Emmie Mears's progressive and critically acclaimed coming-of-age fantasy series explores the importance of our world's resources and that all choices have consequences.
"There is a growing impact and threat of climate change as well as important resources being lost in our world. The idea that people have broken something for their own profit and comfort and that it requires dramatic, radical action (and discomfort) to fix it, is on a lot of minds right now," says author Mears. "Much of humanity has a tendency to hoard resources, and many are not satisfied with 'enough,' which I address in this series. My hope is readers will connect with and understand that we are all one on this planet and that we can elicit positive change in our world."
