CYPRESS, Texas - s4story -- This Woman Knows (TWK) today announced its September–October microgrant recipient: Cookout at the Vineyard (CookoutAtTheVineyard.com), founded by Tahlia Suggs, a cultural hospitality leader dedicated to expanding representation and joy-centered gathering spaces.
The TWK Grant uplifts women-led ventures that merge creativity, purpose, and community impact. This cycle brought in a powerful range of applications, and Cookout at the Vineyard rose to the top for its commitment to elevating BIPOC visibility in food, win,e and travel through curated experiences in Sonoma County, Calif.
"Every round we run, choosing one recipient is incredibly difficult," said Lisa N. Alexander, founder of TWK. "This cycle was no exception. Cookout at the Vineyard captured the heartbeat of this season — joy as community, joy as resistance, and joy as legacy."

"These funds will go directly into the grant fundraising efforts to continue the planning and execution of Cookout at the Vineyard. Every contribution moves us closer to creating a safe, celebratory space where our community can gather, connect, and be fully seen."
Cookout at the Vineyard showcases BIPOC chefs, creatives, entrepreneurs, and musical artists while supporting The Veraison Project, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to removing barriers for underrepresented beverage industry professionals through mentorship, educatio,n and career development.
