Tri-County Science & Technology High School Fair Seeks Judges for 2026 Online Fair

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - s4story -- The Tri-County Science & Technology High School Fair is expanding its volunteer judge corps for the 2026 online fair and is actively recruiting qualified judges with strong backgrounds in science and technology. The virtual judging format allows experts to evaluate pre-recorded student presentations and written documentation from home or office, at a pace that suits their schedule.
Key facts
- We are seeking judges with deep subject matter knowledge and experience in teaching, research, government, or industry.
- This online fair is the only one in New York State that attracts the greatest number, breadth, depth, and diversity of qualified technical professionals who evaluate exhibits remotely and provide constructive feedback to students across multiple STEM categories.
- Current registered judges include more than 225 technical professionals from more than 120 organizations across 28 states, spanning academia, industry, research, government, non-profits, and medical facilities. A full list of judging organizations and participating institutions can be found on the official judges' site.

- Participating schools nominate high school students from Westchester, Rockland, and Putnam counties in New York competing in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical/Social Psychology, Earth/Space Science, Engineering/Technology, Environmental Science, Health/Nutrition, Math/Computers, Medicine and Medical Science & Technology, Physics, and Physiological/Experimental Psychology.
