Don will lead expansion and fundraising for the company build on research from the University of Tartu
BOSTON - s4story -- GV Correct, a US-based medtech company built on research at the University of Tartu, Estonia, has appointed Don Hammond as Chief Executive Officer to lead the company's next stage of growth, including fundraising and market expansion.
GV Correct is developing the world's first non-invasive smart wearable and software platform for supporting lower limb deformities in children — genu valgum (knock knees) and genu varum (bowed legs) — conditions that affect millions worldwide and often require highly invasive surgical treatment if left uncorrected or unaddressed.
The company's technology combines intelligent pressure and motion sensors, a smart compression garment, and a data-driven analytics application to enable continuous monitoring and personalized alignment programs.

"Don brings invaluable experience in medtech commercialization and leadership, and his arrival marks a major step forward for GV Correct," said Sten Dubin, Co-Founder and Board Member of GV Correct. "With Don leading operations and fundraising from the U.S., and our scientific roots and development team in Estonia, we're perfectly positioned to build a transatlantic medtech company capable of scaling globally."
"I'm thrilled to join GV Correct at this pivotal moment," said Don Hammond, CEO of GV Correct. "Our mission is to give physicians and families a non-invasive, intelligent solution that prevents children from needing braces or surgery. This technology has the potential to redefine how pediatric leg deformities are treated — and we're building the team to make that vision a reality."
GV Correct is expanding its leadership team further in 2026 as it advances its fundraising efforts and strengthens its presence in the American medtech and European research communities.
