Valor Health Solutions Joins The Fire Watch's Watch Stander Program

S For Story/10687244
CLEARWATER, Fla. - s4story -- Valor Health Solutions, a veteran-owned mental health organization specializing in innovative treatments for veterans, first responders, and the broader community, today announced its partnership with The Fire Watch through participation in the Watch Stander Program.

By joining the Watch Stander community, now more than 10,000 trained advocates strong, Valor Health Solutions is reinforcing its commitment to proactive suicide prevention and community education. The Watch Stander Program equips individuals and organizations with training, tools, and awareness to recognize warning signs of suicide risk among veterans and intervene early.

Each year, more than 6,000 U.S. veterans die by suicide. Organizations across the country are working urgently to reduce this devastating statistic. Through the Watch Stander initiative, participants learn how to identify risk factors, engage in meaningful conversations, and connect veterans with lifesaving support resources.

"Being part of the Watch Stander Program reflects our deep commitment to standing beside the veteran community," said Wes Wrather, Chief Executive Officer of Valor Health Solutions. "As a veteran-owned and operated organization, we recognize that addressing veteran suicide requires collective action. By partnering with The Fire Watch, we are strengthening our ability to educate, advocate, and intervene when our veterans need support most."

All care is delivered with a trauma-informed approach designed to support those facing depression, PTSD, and other complex mental health challenges.

In addition to its clinical services, Valor Health Solutions maintains a Veteran Care Agreement and serves as a Veteran Community Care partner. Through this partnership, Valor Health Solutions will actively participate in community outreach, suicide prevention education, and advocacy initiatives aligned with the mission of The Fire Watch: to reduce veteran suicide through community awareness and action.

"We are honored to stand alongside thousands of Watch Standers across the country who are committed to protecting the lives of those who have served," added Wrather. "Together, we can create stronger, more connected communities where veterans know they are seen, supported, and never alone."
