More on S For Story
Beyond securing registrations, Mr. Bruzos counsels clients on the strategic dimensions of intellectual property, from assessing clearance and registrability at the outset to positioning issued rights for enforcement. His contested-proceeding experience before the TTAB and PTAB, paired with his support of federal litigation, allows him to prosecute applications with a clear view toward how those rights may ultimately be asserted or defended.
Before entering private practice, Mr. Bruzos completed a legal internship at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law. His engineering training informs a practical, technically grounded approach to patent drafting and prosecution, enabling him to engage directly with inventors and translate complex technical subject matter into precise, defensible claims.
In his of counsel role, Mr. Bruzos will continue to represent clients in patent and trademark prosecution, contested proceedings, and related intellectual property matters.
