ROCHESTER, N.Y. - s4story -- Water for South Sudan (WFSS) is preparing for its upcoming Operating Season in South Sudan, when field teams will carry out water, sanitation and hygiene work in communities across the country.

While the visible work begins when teams reach the field, preparation begins months earlier. Teams assess needs, plan field operations, prepare equipment and vehicles, organize supplies, and use lessons from previous seasons to strengthen the work ahead.

The upcoming Operating Season reflects WFSS's continued commitment to expanding access to reliable water and related services in partnership with communities. The organization is preparing for a season that includes new water wells, well rehabilitations, larger water systems work and sanitation improvements, with field activities shaped by community needs and operational readiness.
