Wellness Coach Zakiyyah Broadnax Joins the Dear Black Woman Anthology
S For Story/10671240
A letter on self-worth, boundaries, and healing from within; national release September 20, 2025.
EUCLID, Ohio - s4story -- Zakiyyah Broadnax, a former nurse turned health and wellness coach, is a contributing author in the forthcoming Dear Black Woman Anthology, a national collection of first-person letters by Black women to their younger selves and to one another. The book releases September 20, 2025.
Broadnax's chapter tracks a journey from shrinking to shining—naming how people-pleasing, silence, and fear kept her small, then showing how boundaries and self-love rebuilt her life. She writes to her younger self with a clear charge: those quiet tears grew strength, and love is not supposed to suffocate or silence. Her letter gives readers a simple path: tell the truth, ask for help, set healthy limits, forgive yourself, and choose peace daily.
With more than 23 years in care work, Broadnax now helps women heal through personalized mind, body, and spirit practices as founder of Zakiyyah's Healthful Wellness Solutions, LLC. She also owns Z & S Dispensary, offering plant-based products that support holistic wellness. Her community work mirrors the anthology's purpose: practical tools anyone can use to move from surviving to whole.
