New 501(c)(3) organization addresses food insecurity and housing instability for veterans, seniors, and families in Maricopa County, Arizona
MESA, Ariz. - s4story -- Willow & Oak Alliance, Inc. (WOA), a newly established 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, announces its official launch in Mesa, Arizona. Founded in December 2025, WOA is dedicated to providing food security and housing stability support for veterans, seniors, families, and low-income households throughout Maricopa County.

WOA works to prevent housing instability before it starts. WOA's flagship Community Support & Food Assistance Program (CSFAP) is currently in development, with a community food distribution launch planned for summer 2026 in Mesa, Arizona, providing free food boxes to eligible veterans, seniors, families, and low-income individuals at no cost.
"No family should have to choose between food and a roof," said David Friend, Founding Director of Willow & Oak Alliance, Inc. "WOA exists to walk with people through hard seasons and do what we can to help them stay stable, fed, and housed."
WOA holds the Candid Gold Seal of Transparency for 2026 — the highest level of nonprofit transparency recognition — and is actively seeking community volunteers and donors to support its growing programs.
