yfood, the fast-growing ready-to-drink smart food brand, has appointed Spin.
SOUTHWARK, U.K. - s4story -- yfood, the fast-growing ready-to-drink smart food brand, has appointed Spin as its retained social media agency, tasking the team with building the brand's organic presence across social platforms.
The brief covers an organic content programme combining in-house production from Spin's studio team with external content creator partnerships, all developed to grow yfood's community and drive brand relevance in the competitive nutrition space.
It's a partnership that's already bedded in beyond the brief. The Spin office fridges are now permanently stocked with yfood, fuelling the team through missed breakfasts, back-to-back shoot days and the inevitable last-minute pitch. It's the kind of product-in-practice relationship that makes for sharper, more authentic content, the team isn't just briefed on the brand, they're living on it.

The appointment comes as yfood continues its rapid UK retail expansion, having surpassed 10,000 points of sale nationwide. The brand is now stocked in more than 850 Tesco Superstores (up from three hero flavours to six) and over 1,500 Tesco Express stores, with Co-op distribution extending to more than 2,000 stores. yfood is also available across Boots, Sainsbury's, Holland & Barrett, Superdrug, Ocado, SPAR and Nisa.
This launch comes off the back of a string of recent successes for Spin, including competitive pitch wins for Fortnum & Mason, InPost and National Rail, and the retention of clients such as Paramount, Channel 5 and Google Cloud.
Spin was also recently crowned Social Media Agency of the Year at the Europe Agency Awards and highly commended at The Drum Awards for Agency of the Year. With 80+ people globally, Spin continues to scale with momentum and purpose and has recently launched in the APAC region.
