ROCKFORD, Ill. - s4story -- Zombie Logic Press Announces Upcoming Release of Vanished Roads by Thomas L. Vaultonburg
ROCKFORD, Ill. — Zombie Logic Press has announced the upcoming release of Vanished Roads, a new collection of 104 contemporary haiku by Rockford poet Thomas L. Vaultonburg. The book will be released on June 21, 2026, through Wolf Twin Books.
Drawing from themes of grief, attention, renewal, and the passage of time, Vanished Roads traces a journey through loss toward a deeper appreciation of the present moment. Rather than offering easy answers, the collection invites readers to slow down and notice the ordinary details that sustain us.
Vaultonburg began writing haiku in 2020 after a period of significant personal upheaval. Over the following years, the form became both a creative practice and a way of engaging more fully with everyday life. The poems collected in Vanished Roads reflect that ongoing exploration.
