DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. - s4story -- Bundle up and head downtown Downers Grove for the Annual Ice Festival, January 30-February 1, 2026! The Ice Festival kicks off with a live ice carving under the lights on Friday evening from 5:30-7:30pm at the southeast corner of Main Street and Curtiss Street. The icy artistry continues throughout the weekend with live carving demonstrations on Saturday and Sunday from 11am-3pm at the Main Street Train Station.

More than 60 pre-carved ice sculptures will line the streets of Downtown Downers Grove, creating a winter wonderland for visitors to explore. Be sure to check out interactive ice games, bean bag toss, Bozo buckets, and ring toss. Don't miss fan-favorite photo ops, including the Kissing Booth, the I Love Downtown Downers Grove picture frame, and the 11½-foot-tall illuminated heart on Main Street.
