Artisan Joy Launches Directory to Simplify Finding Art, Craft and Culinary Classes in RI
S For Story/10693693
BARRINGTON, R.I. - s4story -- Nonprofit publisher Artisan Joy has launched a new online directory designed to help Rhode Islanders discover local art, craft and culinary classes across the state. The searchable directory features studios, schools and community spaces that offer hands-on learning opportunities across categories such as pottery, printmaking, jewelry, sewing, cooking and more.
The directory was created to make it easier for people to explore creative classes by interest, region, city or town and best fit. With one central resource, visitors can quickly find classes that match their needs, whether they are looking for beginner-friendly options, all-ages activities or more specialized workshops. It can be accessed at https://www.artisanjoy.com/ri-creative-classes-....
Artisan Joy is a nonprofit magazine and media platform based in Rhode Island that celebrates makers, creative entrepreneurs, small businesses and the people behind handcrafted work. The new directory extends that mission by connecting readers not only to stories about creativity, but also to places where they can take part in it themselves.

"Artisan Joy exists to amplify the work of makers, creative entrepreneurs, and the studios and organizations that sustain our creative economy. This directory is one more way we can help connect people with local classes while supporting the people and places that keep Rhode Island's creative culture vibrant," said Stephanie Blanchard, founder and editorial and executive director of Artisan Joy.
The directory is now live on the Artisan Joy website and will continue to grow as new programs and providers are added.
While the directory focuses on the Ocean State, Artisan Joy plans to scale this resource to include other states in the future. Rhode Island was selected as the inaugural location due to its dense population of world-class makers and the publication's local roots.
