Denise Frances DiJoseph is an artist/author residing in East Tennessee. She grew up in Pennsylvania where she helped her aunt and uncle on their dairy farm. Denise earned a BFA in Studio Arts/Art History and a post-grad certificate from Children's Institute of Literature. When asked about the inspiration behind her book, DiJoseph shared, "I was in my art studio painting a cow to be included in a farm animal oil painting series. Each time I sat at my easel to paint her, she'd tell me more about her story living on a dairy farm."
