Patrice Wilkerson is an author from Mecklenburg County, Va. In 2010, she published her first book, Through It All, I'm Going to Make It. Her writing has been featured in Quilted Poems: An Ekphrastic Collaboration of Poets & Quilters and Dear God: 118 Devotional Prayers for Teens and Young Adults. In 2023, she published her first children's book, My Favorite Season is Spring, which the 2023 Story Monsters Approved Award for Picture Books. In 2024, My Favorite Season is Spring won the Royal Dragonfly Book Award for picture books 5 & younger, and was a finalist for the 2024 American Writing Awards. My Favorite Season is Spring also received the Five-Star Book Review Award from LitPick Book Reviews.
In Wilkerson's new book, Susie's Day at the Farm, Susie is filled with excitement as she embarks on a thrilling adventure. She is visiting a farm for the very first time, and she can't wait! Readers explore the farm with Susie as she feeds the goats, rides the horses, and watches the chickens lay their eggs.
