RICHMOND, Va. - s4story -- Jan-Carol Publishing, Inc., of Johnson City, Tennessee, is thrilled to announce the release of Oran, You Glad? by Dale P. Rhodes, Sr.
Dale P. Rhodes, Sr., has been a Central Virginia resident his whole life and a factory worker for nearly 40 years. He and his wife, Phyllis, have three granddaughters and a grandson on the way. After the death of his father with dementia, Rhodes used poetry to help in the grieving process, and his first book, Daddy's Apple Tree, was born.
Rhodes is a born-again Christian and believes God provided inspiration for two short novels, which followed several years later, If Only and Next Summer. Lately, he has been working on young reader stories to encourage children to read and allow God to speak in their lives. The titles included in his Backyard Adventure Series are Monkey's New Friend, Ricky's Desert Adventure, and Sunrise On The Porch, along with his newest book, Oran, You Glad?
More on S For Story
In Oran, You Glad?, Grandma and Grandpa have no idea that their Bible study is being eavesdropped on. When an orange named Oran in their fruit bowl is overwhelmed by the thought of knowing God's purpose for his life, he becomes determined to give it all he has to see it come true.
Oran, You Glad? is available on Amazon, Barnes&Noble.com, and directly through Jan-Carol Publishing, Inc.
Jan-Carol Publishing, Inc. includes various imprints, each specializing in a particular genre—from Appalachian stories to children's books and more. At JCP, we believe 'every story needs a book.'
