NEW YORK - s4story -- Jan-Carol Publishing, Inc., of Blountville, Tennessee, is thrilled to announce the release of Before the Cock Crows: A Spiritual Memoir by Kathleen M. Jacobs.

Kathleen M. Jacobs is an award-winning, critically acclaimed author of books for young readers and poetry. She is a frequent contributor of commentary for a number of newspapers across the country. Her work has been published in literary journals and magazines, including The Writer and Writer's Digest. She has twice been chosen Runner-up Best Author of WV.

Before the Cock Crows looks at the author's spiritual journey from her early years through midlife, ending with her seasoned experiences in the Church. Presented in three parts, it is the author's hope that the work's core message is not only personal, but universal, hoping too that it will promote healthy discourse and healing.

"Kathleen M. Jacobs has turned inward with her spiritual memoir to examine the core of her faith, meticulously built as a child, and how it has molded her life and the path she's taken. She looks at both the flaws and the joys, examining each carefully and how it has changed not only her but also our world. She recognizes that her faith is as fluid as water, offering a needed drink in times of dryness and a chance to grow and blossom." — Katy J. Smith, author of Forgotten Voices: Excerpts from Valentina's Journal
