KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - s4story -- Jan-Carol Publishing, Inc., of Johnson City, Tennessee, is excited to announce that submissions are now open for These Haunted Hills Book 6!
JCP's These Haunted Hills series is comprised of five thrilling editions, each with its own host of talented contributing authors. New editions are released annually in August or September. The series has quickly become a family favorite, with many readers revisiting each book in the Autumn months. The most recent installment, These Haunted Hills: A Collection of Short Stories Book 5, was released in 2023 and is packed with frightening stories from eight authors excited to send a chill down your spine.
Submissions for the sixth edition of the series opened on February 1st and span through May 31st. Stories should follow the theme of spooky or supernatural tales set in the Appalachian region. Stories must be fiction. Writers should include with their submissions a short author bio written in the third person and no more than fifty words.

The submission fee is $20 per story, and authors are allowed to submit a maximum of two stories. Payment can be made by calling the JCP office at 423.926.9983 or by mailing a check to P.O. Box 701, Johnson City, TN, 37605. Stories must be a minimum of 1500 words and a maximum of 3500 words per story.
Authors accepted to the anthology will receive two free books upon release.
Submissions should be sent to submissions@jancarolpublishing.com. These Haunted Hills Book 6 is scheduled for publication in Autumn 2024.
