S For Story/10702828
A Crofton family faces a deadly national-security conspiracy in Michelle Carey's new political crime thriller, available September 21.
CROFTON, Md. - s4story -- Sunrai Multimedia announces the release of The Crofton Triangle, a political crime thriller by Michelle Carey. Set in suburban Crofton in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, the novel combines white-collar corruption, high-tech surveillance, and a family's fight to survive a national-security conspiracy.
Seventeen-year-old computer prodigy Mark Logan hacks a local garden-show database to save his mother's entry. Instead, he uncovers a money-laundering pipeline and accidentally steals $25,000 from a ruthless crime syndicate. When the theft is traced to the Logans' home IP address, the family is drawn into a lethal game of survival.
As the danger closes in, Mark's father, senior accountant Jack Logan, discovers shell companies and political bribery connected to a pivotal U.S. Senate vote on surveillance policy.
"The Crofton Triangle is, at its heart, a story about a normal family facing an extraordinary, invisible threat," Carey said.
