BMCC Tribeca PAC Presents New Season of Music, Theater & Family Fun

NEW YORK - s4story -- BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center, the longest-operating performance venue in Lower Manhattan, announces its 2025–2026 season, continuing its mission to present high-quality, diverse programming in music, theater, dance, family entertainment, and community arts.

The season kicks off Friday, September 19, 2025 at 7:30PM with the return of acclaimed Classic Albums Live, performing Queen: News of the World live, note for note. Fans will hear "We Are the Champions" and "We Will Rock You," followed by a second set of Queen's greatest hits.

Family programming begins Saturday, September 27 at 11AM with the energetic stage adaptation of Mo Willems' Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! The Musical! Perfect for young audiences, the show features catchy songs and kid-friendly comedy.

Just in time for Halloween, Cirque-Tacular's Spooktacular brings circus thrills and spooky fun on Saturday, October 18 at 3PM. Expect stunts, acrobatics, and costumed characters in a high-energy, family-friendly show.

On Saturday, December 20 at 1PM, award-winning band Hot Peas 'N Butter returns with an interactive performance blending Latin, jazz, bluegrass, and rock. Known from Nickelodeon, the band creates a festive, inclusive experience for all ages.

Beloved NYC troupe The Paper Bag Players return on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at 11AM, with a fresh mix of inventive sketches, cardboard sets, and live music for kids and families.

From April 6–11, 2026, Tribeca PAC presents The Jungle Book Acting Camp, in collaboration with Missoula Children's Theatre. The one-week program for young performers ends in a staged musical production, fostering creativity, collaboration, and confidence.

The Writers in Performance program, led by Mario Giacalone, begins this fall with September auditions. The workshop brings together playwrights, poets, and spoken word artists to craft original material and present it on stage. Details available in August.

Jazz takes center stage Saturday, February 21 at 7:30PM with the Hiruy Tirfe Quartet, winners of the 2024 DCJazzPrix. The saxophone-led ensemble debuts at Tribeca PAC with a soulful set of modern jazz and rhythmic groove.

Dance and movement are highlighted in two dynamic works. NVA & Guests present Cry Wolf on October 24 & 25, 2025, a dance-theater piece inspired by the "Boy Who Cried Wolf" fable. In April 2026 (April 3–4), Elodie Dufroux's UN-SPOKEN explores bullying and emotional resilience through contemporary movement and storytelling.
