New song features collaboration with Bishop Brandon Holland & Greater Christ Temple Church
DETROIT - s4story -- Gospel recording artist Carl B. Phillips has entered into a distribution agreement with HAUS Records to release his latest single, "Good To See You In Church Today." The track will be available across all digital platforms beginning Friday, January 30, 2026.
For this new release, Carl collaborated with Bishop Brandon Holland and the Greater Christ Temple Church. Bishop Brandon Holland, who succeeded his late father, Bishop Carl Holland, as pastor of Greater Christ Temple Church, introduced a new tradition of welcoming both members and visitors during Sunday services. Motivated by this initiative, Carl, who serves as the church's minister of music, developed and composed the welcome song "Good To See You In Church Today."

Carl, a member of Greater Christ Temple for five decades, expressed his desire to create a song that would be welcoming to visitors, easy to sing, and evoke a sense of warmth and acceptance. He collaborated with Detroit's rising musician Joseph Crumble on the musical production, and featured one of his nieces, Rashyeda Lewis, on lead vocals.
HAUS Records founder Darnell Nolin added, "It is an incredible honor to support Carl in releasing his music. I truly believe we can collaborate to build a thoughtful strategy and release plan that reflects his artistry and vision. Carl's work deeply resonates with me and aligns perfectly with Haus Records' mission to amplify independent voices and share their art with the world."
