Publisher will re-release the acclaimed author's Napoleonic histories, military biographies, and literary portraits, alongside his forthcoming memoir this fall

NEW YORK - s4story -- Independent publishing house Casa Carlini today announced the acquisition of exclusive worldwide publication rights to the collected historical and biographical works of renowned historian and New York Times bestselling author Alan Strauss-Schom (also published as Alan Schom).

Following the reversion of copyrights to the author, the Strauss-Schom catalog will join Casa Carlini's dedicated history imprint, Storia. The acquisition includes his celebrated Napoleonic works, deeply researched military histories, and acclaimed literary biographies, previously published by houses including HarperCollins, Oxford University Press, and W. W. Norton & Company.

"Alan Strauss-Schom is a titan of narrative history, blending rigorous archival research with the pacing of a master novelist," said Charles Carlini, Publisher of Casa Carlini. "Works like Napoleon Bonaparte: A Life and The Shadow Emperor redefined how a generation understood 19th-century Europe. We are honored that he has entrusted Casa Carlini with the stewardship of his life's work."
