One of the major successes from this legislative session is the focus on providing more affordable housing options for Coloradans. House Bill 25-1273 aims to streamline regulations and make it easier to construct homes that are within reach for residents. Similarly, House Bill 25-1272 seeks to remove obstacles in building townhomes in communities across Colorado. Additionally, Senate Bill 25-002 will facilitate the use of innovative modular housing techniques to reduce costs and create more affordable homes.

The new laws also prioritize public safety by supporting law enforcement agencies through Senate Bill 25-310. This bill provides financial assistance for initial and ongoing training for peace officers as well as incentives and bonuses to recruit new officers.
