DENVER ~ Denver - Governor Jared Polis has recently signed a series of bills into law, marking a significant step towards administrative progress in the state. The bills, sponsored by various legislators, cover a wide range of issues and aim to improve the lives of Colorado residents.

One of the bills signed by Governor Polis is SB25-277, also known as the Sunset Title Insurance Commission. This bill was sponsored by Senators Iman Jodeh and Lisa Cutter, along with Representatives Emily Rydin and Alex Valdez. It aims to regulate the title insurance industry and ensure fair practices for consumers.

Another important bill signed into law is SB25-302, also known as the Achieving a Better Life Experience Tax Deduction. In addition to these bills, Governor Polis also signed HB25-1230 which addresses changes in violation driver overtaking school buses. This bill was sponsored by Representatives Terri Carver and Shane Sandridge, along with Senator Faith Winter.

Other bills that have been signed into law include HB25-1167 which focuses on alternative education campuses; HB25-1308 which extends the annual report deadline for the Office of Information Technology; HB25-1316 which makes changes to definitions regarding monitoring of prescription drugs; HB25-1267 which supports statewide energy strategies; SB25-184 which addresses HOA information and resource centers; HB25-1248 which protects students from restraint and seclusion; HB25-1152 which addresses tech accessibility liability for contractors; SB25-195 which focuses on rural alcohol and substance abuse treatment; HB25-1325 which updates references to eligible persons; and HB25-1244 which establishes a welcome, reception, and integration grant program.

These bills were sponsored by various legislators including Representatives Monica Duran, Yadira Caraveo, and David Ortiz, along with Senators Rhonda Fields, Dominick Moreno, and Tammy Story.
