Cooperdyne Learning Earns Choice Navigator Certification Through Step Up for Students
S For Story/10691273
Local tutoring provider now offers scholarship navigation consultations alongside 1:1 academic tutoring for students in grades 6 through 12
ORLANDO, Fla. - s4story -- ORLANDO, FL — Cooperdyne Learning, a Central Florida tutoring provider serving students in grades 6 through 12, has earned certification as a Choice Navigator through Step Up for Students, Florida's largest K–12 scholarship organization. The designation makes Cooperdyne Learning one of the few local tutoring providers in Orange and Seminole Counties equipped to guide families through the full process of identifying, applying for, and using Florida's education scholarship programs.
A certified Choice Navigator provides consultations on scholarship selection, application, and enrollment in educational programs that address a student's academic needs. The role also includes guidance on curriculum selection and postsecondary education planning. Cooperdyne Learning is approved to serve families enrolled in four Step Up scholarship programs: FES-UA, FTC, FES-EO, and PEP.
More on S For Story
Florida currently offers multiple K–12 scholarship programs available to families regardless of household income. Most families in Central Florida are unaware they qualify — or apply for the wrong program without knowing the differences. Florida law allows only one active scholarship application per student at a time, making the choice consequential.
"Most families we talk to have heard of Step Up for Students but haven't applied because the process feels overwhelming. They don't know which scholarship fits their situation, what documents they need, or what happens if they pick the wrong one. That's exactly the gap this certification fills. We can now sit down with a family, ask the right questions, and give them a clear path forward — before they commit to an application."
— Diane DiSanza, MA, Founder, Cooperdyne Learning
The Choice Navigator consultation is covered by scholarship funds for eligible families, with no out-of-pocket cost for many households.
Cooperdyne Learning launched in 2026 with a focus on one-on-one math tutoring and SAT/ACT preparation for middle and high school students in Orange and Seminole Counties. The Choice Navigator certification extends that mission — helping families not only access quality academic support, but identify the funding to pay for it.
