Names Are Not Important: A Literary Novel Told Without a Single Named Character
S For Story/10693487
Told through unnamed characters and fragmented, lyrical prose, Names Are Not Important explores identity, memory, trauma, and human connection. The debut literary novel releases October 1, 2026 from Villa Sova Press.
HOUSTON - s4story -- Villa Sova Press announces the upcoming release of Names Are Not Important, a debut literary novel told without a single named character, by author and creative Jen Lee.
Through fragmented, intimate prose, the novel follows a woman reckoning with memory, identity, grief, and the emotional residue left by human connection over time. Rather than centering names or fixed identities, Names Are Not Important examines how relationships, family, trauma, and experience gradually shape — and sometimes obscure — the self.

The release marks the debut title from Villa Sova Press, an independent imprint focused on contemporary literary fiction, poetry, and visually intentional storytelling.
Lee lives between Houston, Texas and the Czech Republic, drawing inspiration from both environments and the cultural and emotional contrasts between them.
Names Are Not Important is scheduled for release on October 1, 2026. Additional information, release updates, and author materials can be found at https://www.villasovapress.com
