Curran Young Construction promotes Steven Myli to project executive
S For Story/10704068
BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. - s4story -- Curran Young Construction has promoted Steven Myli from senior project manager to project executive, expanding his leadership responsibilities across the firm's construction projects in Southwest Florida.
Myli joined Curran Young in April 2022 and has spent more than four years with the firm. In his new role, he will lead multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout while providing oversight of project teams, schedules, budgets, quality control and safety.
"Steve has earned the trust of our clients and our team by understanding the bigger picture without losing sight of what makes each project successful," said Chris Curran, chief executive officer of Curran Young. "Over the past four years, we've watched him grow as a leader who takes ownership, builds strong relationships and keeps the client's goals at the center of the work. Moving into this role allows him to have that impact across more of our projects and the teams behind them."

As project executive, Myli will also help mentor and develop project teams, evaluate project risks and maintain relationships with clients and design partners. He will also contribute to business development efforts and the pursuit of new project opportunities.
"Steve knows how decisions made during preconstruction carry all the way through the field and ultimately affect the finished project," said Bruce Young, president of Curran Young. "His background in both estimating and project management gives him a practical understanding of cost, scheduling and constructability. That perspective is especially valuable when he's guiding multiple teams and identifying issues before they become obstacles."
Myli brings more than two decades of construction experience, including as a project superintendent, estimating, project management and business development. Before joining Curran Young, he spent more than 20 years managing and estimating high-end residential, new construction and commercial projects in Southwest Florida.
