SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - s4story -- When Addiction Comes Home: A Family's Walk of Faith Through The Darkness of Addiction, the deeply personal testimony from Jamie Lynn Warren, is now available on Amazon. Chronicling a mother's relentless fight for her son's life, Warren offers families a raw, faith-filled perspective on navigating the devastating impact of substance abuse and finding a path to recovery.

Through her ministry, Warren had counseled many individuals battling addiction, but her faith was tested like never before when her own son, Jacob, fell into the grip of meth addiction. What began as behavioral changes escalated into a harrowing ordeal involving arrests, severe injuries, and terrifying nights of uncertainty. Her book details the agonizing process of learning when to stop rescuing her son and how to surrender him completely to God.

"There is something different about addiction when it comes through your own front door," said Warren. "I had to learn that loving someone through addiction would require a kind of faith I had never needed before. I want families to know they are not alone, there is hope, and Jesus Christ is still breaking chains today."

When Addiction Comes Home moves beyond a simple recounting of past trauma. It serves as a spiritual roadmap for parents, spouses, and loved ones who feel trapped by the fear and isolation of addiction. Drawing from her experiences with Adult and Teen Challenge Mid-America, where her son found lasting recovery, Warren provides honest reflections and scriptural encouragement.

Topics covered in the book include:

• Recognizing the signs of substance abuse within the home
• Learning how to love a struggling family member without enabling them
• Finding the strength to set necessary boundaries for the family's safety

The book is written for any parent, spouse, sibling, or friend who has watched a loved one struggle with addiction and is seeking spiritual support, practical boundaries, and a renewed sense of hope.
