With exquisite descriptions drawn in large part from Blackwater's extensive travel and research in Egypt, Dead Egyptians is historically accurate down to the fabrics while also  addressing the atrocities of colonialism.

A native of Wisconsin, Blackwater's travels have taken her to four continents, but Egypt has always been close to her heart.
