The Annual Conference Honors & Awards will honor top achievers in business and research, including the prestigious Frank and Lillian Gilbreth Industrial Engineering Award, Captains of Industry Awards and 10 new IISE Fellow Award honorees. Also to be presented are 42 student scholarship awards totaling $105,000.
Attendees find the conference experience and the connections made to be invaluable to their careers.
"During Annual, I've been introduced to new methods that helped our team uncover root causes and drive more sustainable improvements," said Mindy Holmes of Intel. "Additionally, I connected with professionals across many industries, building lasting relationships and gaining new perspectives through shared challenges and ideas. ... I return energized, with practical tools, fresh thinking and a broader, more strategic view of my work."
"The Annual Conference provides a strategic pause from day-to-day demands, offering fresh perspective, innovative thinking and continued assurance that industrial engineering and healthcare are beautifully aligned," said Shernette R. Kydd of Cook Children's Healthcare System.
