Two Cynthia Corbett Gallery artists, Deborah Azzopardi and Cristina Schek, are featured in the BFAMI 2026 Art Auction at Phillips, London, with works on view during the public preview week (30 January–5 February 2026).
LONDON - s4story -- Cynthia Corbett Gallery is pleased to share that two of its artists, Deborah Azzopardi and Cristina Schek, are included in the BFAMI 2026 Art Auction, with works on view during the public Preview Week at Phillips, London (30 January – 5 February 2026).
Deborah Azzopardi is known for distinctive, playful images that translate relationships, seductions and fantasies into bold, relatable scenes. Working with graphic line and a fearless palette, she balances humour and heat with a pop-charged clarity.
Featured work: Shall We Share This? (2024), acrylic paint on 400gsm, 56 × 56 cm. Lot 10.

Cristina Schek is a Transylvanian Surrealist artist based in London who describes herself as "photo-sensitive". Drawing on literature, cinema, and the visual language of Surrealists and Old Masters, she creates conceptual work exploring identity and representation.
Featured work: The Ceiling In The Sky (2022), framed archival pigment print, 52 × 62 × 3 cm. Lot 46. The artwork was the winning work of the W4th Plinth Public Art Project in Chiswick and was later realised as a monumental 4 × 4 m outdoor piece curated by Abundance London, unveiled by Dame Siân Phillips in 2023.
