MESA, Ariz. - s4story -- Demetrios "Jim" Totonis announces his swearing-in as a member of the United States Marshals Service Posse for the District of Arizona, effective July 29, 2026. This role represents another important step in his continued commitment to leadership, public service, community engagement, and support for law enforcement throughout Arizona.
Totonis was sworn in by the United States Marshal for the District of Arizona and will serve as a member of the United States Marshals Service Posse. In this capacity, he will support Posse operations, assist organizational leadership, and contribute his experience to activities in support of the United States Marshals Service.
The appointment reflects Totonis's longstanding dedication to serving others and his belief in strong partnerships between law enforcement organizations, community leaders, civic organizations, and the communities they serve.
Totonis brings more than 25 years of leadership experience across private and public-sector, including management, operations, communications, organizational development, community relations, and strategic planning. Throughout his career, he has held positions requiring coordination among diverse stakeholders and understands the importance of professionalism, accountability, preparation, and clear communication.

In addition to his professional career, Totonis has maintained a strong commitment to his involvement with law enforcement and community organizations has provided extensive experience supporting agencies, assisting at public events, coordinating volunteers, and developing productive community partnerships.
His service with the Arizona Rangers, has further strengthened his experience in law enforcement. Through service, he has participated in assignments focused on supplemental assistance, community support, and public-service resources.

"I appreciate the confidence placed in me and look forward to supporting the Posse leadership and fellow members. Public service is a responsibility I take seriously, and I am grateful for every opportunity to contribute to the communities we serve."
Totonis recognizes that membership in this organization carries a responsibility to maintain high standards of conduct, professionalism, and integrity. He intends to approach this assignment with the same commitment demonstrated throughout his professional and volunteer service.
