DETOX GALLERY Makes Bold Debut at Hamptons Fine Art Fair 2025, Spotlighting Rising Women Artists and a Bold, Grassroots Vision

NEW YORK, July 8, 2025 ~ As the prestigious Hamptons Fine Art Fair kicks off this year, a new player is making waves with its thoughtful and inclusive approach. DETOX GALLERY, a nomadic fine art gallery founded by Dallas and New York-based artist Vickie J. Lin, is making its debut at the fair from July 10-13 in Southampton, NY.
Located at Booth 118, DETOX GALLERY will be showcasing the works of five rising women artists and designers, including founder Vickie J. Lin herself. The other featured artists are Lili Rochelle, Maria Sardi, Shivya Ahuja, and Yianna Foufas. With a focus on community, representation, and accessibility, DETOX aims to challenge the norms of the industry by providing a platform for historically marginalized voices in the fine art world.
What sets DETOX GALLERY apart is not just its carefully curated selection of artists but also its radical journey to existence. Founded in 2023 by Chinese-American artist and entrepreneur Vickie J. Lin without any institutional backing, DETOX GALLERY has grown as a grassroots force with nine major exhibitions in New York and Dallas in less than two years. These exhibitions have reached over 2,000 visitors and showcased works from more than 200 artists. As the first AAPI-founded nomadic gallery dedicated to uplifting BIPOC (Black Indigenous People of Color), femme (feminine), and LGBTQ communities, DETOX embodies a radical and artist-led approach that challenges the conventions of the fine art world. The gallery's primary mission is accessibility - bringing contemporary art from emerging artists to high-end gallery venues while refusing to conform to exclusionary industry norms.

In an interview with founder and director Vickie J Lin, she shared her vision for creating DETOX GALLERY: "I founded DETOX to detoxify the art world - to build what I needed but couldn't find: a space where underrepresented artists are celebrated and centered, not sidelined. To now be showing at the Hamptons Fine Art Fair with no investors, no grants - just grit and vision - is a full circle moment and the realization of a lifelong dream for me."
Visitors to Booth 118 can expect to see a diverse range of works from the five featured artists. Vickie J. Lin, an abstract expressionist, will be unveiling her ocean-inspired piece "Heartbreak" alongside new gilded works from her "Transformation" series. Brooklyn-based painter Lili Rochelle will be showcasing her ethereal figures and cosmic mythos that reimagine divine femininity. Maria Sardi, a Venezuelan-American collage artist, will be presenting her exuberant mixed-media piece "Florida" which layers nostalgia, pop culture, and personal myth. Furniture designer Shivya Ahuja, founder of The Studio Grain, will be showcasing her sculptural handcrafted teakwood pieces including the Zen Table and Martini Tables. And finally, painter and wrestler Yianna Foufas will debut her vivid and detailed oil painting "Synaptic Embrace."
