Drake has said he plans to tour globally in 2027, but cities, venues and dates have not yet been announced.

For KayeDinero, the news feels personal. Long before releasing music herself, she followed Drake from his Aubrey Graham and Degrassi years into his music career.

"I was an Aubrey Graham fan before the world experienced Drake at this scale," KayeDinero said. "What always inspired me was the evolution. He never had to erase one version of himself to become the next one."

KayeDinero says she met Drake twice more than a decade ago — once around a Michigan State University performance and later in Los Angeles.

"At the time, I was meeting an artist I admired," she said. "Now I'm producing my own catalog and building my own creative world. I'd love for the next conversation to happen creator to creator."

No official 2027 itinerary has been announced.

"Asheville gets talked about for mountains, food and art, but this city has an audience for major music too," KayeDinero said. "If you're going across the world, why not let Western North Carolina be part of the conversation?"

The timing overlaps with KayeDinero's newest releases.

"RetroArch," arriving Sept. 23, is an instrumental ode to retro gaming and emulation culture. "Kool-Aid," arriving Sept. 24, leans into nostalgia and childhood memories.

"Nostalgia is powerful because everybody brings their own memory to it," she said. "That's why I love instrumentals. I can build the feeling without telling you exactly what to remember."

Asheville, Your Move

Drake's 2027 cities remain unannounced.

KayeDinero's message is simple:

"Drake, if Asheville ends up on that map — I'll be there."
