CHICAGO - May 15, 2019 - s4story -- Athletic opportunities are important for all children. They help children get the exercise they need to build strength, teach them to work as a team, and give them something to look forward to outside of the classroom. East Lake Academy, one of the Chicago area's leading private elementary schools, offers numerous athletics programs to students starting in grade 5.

Administration and LCCC Participation

East Lake Academy is a Lake County Catholic Conference participant, which means sports teams will play teams from other catholic schools in the LCCC. These include St. Joseph's, Home Run Kids, Lake Forest County Day School, Our Lady of Humility, and Anastasia. The athletics department is administered by teachers and parent volunteers.

Sports

East Lake Academy strives to offer a positive environment for students who are excited about athletics. Its athletic programs promote Christian values in sportsmanship and competition. Coaches and parent volunteers work together to help students develop a strong sense of self-confidence as they learn to lead others, persevere in tough times, and commit to helping their teammates. The school works to help develop a healthy love of sports and a lifestyle that includes frequent exercise.
