SEATTLE - s4story -- The Editorial Freelancers Association will be at the Association for Asian Studies Conference March 14 – 17 in Seattle, Washington. Stop by table 112 to introduce yourself and learn more about the benefits of EFA membership or about hiring the right freelancer for your project through our Member Directory and Job List! The conference will be held at the Seattle Convention Center and the Sheraton Grand Seattle Hotel.
"We are so happy to be attending the AAS Conference," says Kristen Tate, EFA Events chairperson. "This is a wonderful opportunity to meet with Asian Studies scholars from around the world. Our freelancers work with clients in a wide variety of academic and professional disciplines and we look forward to connecting with everyone at the conference."
The Association for Asian Studies Annual Conference, the largest gathering of individuals devoted to the study of Asia, brings together over 3,000 attendees each year from across the globe, fostering connection between scholars, students, librarians, and historians. Nearly 500 sessions will be presented at the 2024 conference, which will also showcase a film expo featuring more than 20 films from a range of countries including South Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Malaysia. The expo is curated by the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, Center for East Asian and Pacific Studies.
