DALLAS - s4story -- Dr. Froswa' Booker—multi-award-winning author, professor, scholar, and leading voice on Black women in philanthropy—has earned national recognition for her latest book, Front Porch Wisdom: Navigating Leadership Pressures and Barriers as a Woman of Color. The book has been named the 2026 Outstanding Book of the Year by the Illumination Book Awards.

The Illumination Christian Book Awards honor the best new titles written from a Christian perspective, recognizing excellence across 25 categories.
