GiGi McCourt to Premiere Music Video "Anymore, Anymore," Directed by Conor McCourt, Fri, June 12

NEW YORK - s4story -- Singer-songwriter GiGi McCourt will premiere the official music video for "Anymore, Anymore" on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 8 PM on YouTube at @gigimccourtofficial. The song appears on McCourt's debut album, Coming Back to Me, now available on all major streaming platforms, with an official vinyl release coming in a few weeks.
Filmed in Rhinebeck, NY, the video expands the visual world of Coming Back to Me, bringing one of the album's most personal songs into a symbolic setting. Written by GiGi McCourt, "Anymore, Anymore" explores conflict, memory, emotional distance, and personal growth.
Directed by Conor McCourt, the video presents GiGi in a stylized boxing ring surrounded by smoke, movement, atmospheric lighting, and an ensemble cast. The ring becomes a metaphorical space where family tension, emotional struggle, and inner conflict play out through performance and image.
Cinematographer Paul Wilson drew inspiration from classic fight films including Body and Soul, Somebody Up There Likes Me, and The Champ. When Conor described the boxing ring concept, Wilson thought of older fight films and flashbulbs going off ringside. He also noted that GiGi naturally has "a retro look and feel."

To shape the mood, Wilson incorporated lighting into the scenery, using old Mole Richardson Maxi-Brutes, tungsten-rated lights that cast a warm tone against blue moonlight-colored lighting.
One of the video's most distinctive elements is the fog that fills the boxing ring. Wilson said the idea came from the smoky atmosphere of early boxing matches, where cigar and cigarette smoke filled the room and bouts were sometimes called "smokers." The fog gives the video a dreamlike quality.
Wilson and Conor worked closely in pre-production, referencing visuals and discussing the emotional pain behind the song. The team translated "Anymore, Anymore" into a visual language of conflict, reflection, and release.
GiGi's performance remains central to the video. Wilson noted that her face carries a strong emotional presence on camera, saying her expressions and gestures communicate much of the story. He chose closeups to capture subtle emotional shifts.
The music video was edited by Francis Zuccarello, whose work helps bring together the boxing ring imagery, smoke, movement, performance, and emotional arc.
