PALM BEACH, Fla. - s4story -- Graducate Consulting, LLC is proud to announce the launch of the LitKit Parent Engagement Series, a three-part family literacy experience designed to help parents and caregivers support early reading development for young learners. The interactive series connects families with research-based literacy practices while providing engaging activities aligned to the Florida B.E.S.T. ELA Standards for kindergarten.

The LitKit Parent Engagement Series was created in response to growing concerns about early reading readiness among young learners. While many preschool-aged children are exposed to early literacy experiences—85% of children ages 3–5 are read to regularly and 87% hear stories at home—approximately 37% still enter kindergarten without the foundational skills necessary for reading success. Current data also shows that only 56% of K–2 students are on track to read at grade level, while 29% are significantly behind.

The LitKit Parent Engagement Series equips families with practical strategies to support early literacy development at home through interactive reading experiences and hands-on learning.

The series was developed by children's author and educator Dr. Stephanie Hunte, who brings more than two decades of experience in education, including roles as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, school administrator and Exceptional Student Education (ESE) coordinator.

"Parents and caregivers play an essential role in a child's literacy journey," said Dr. Hunte. "The LitKit Parent Engagement Series provides families with interactive experiences that help them understand how reading develops while giving them simple, meaningful ways to support their children's learning."

Each event features an interactive read-aloud and hands-on literacy activities for families.
