Former Gambino underboss Sammy "The Bull" Gravano has a cameo in both
novels with full permission.

Sean Wilson announces the release of The Echo Thief, Book One of The Echo Thief
Trilogy — a cyberpunk thriller twenty years in the making, written in conversation with
former Gambino underboss Salvatore "Sammy the Bull
on Amazon. Set in a drowned neon city where corporations harvest human memory and
artificial intelligence predicts death with terrifying accuracy, the novel follows Sean
Sinclair — a memory thief running for her life with her dead brother's consciousness
uploaded into the network beside her. The book is available now in paperback and
digital formats on Amazon, with Book Two, 3:47, available March 17 2026.
Twenty Years in the Making
The Echo Thief is not a typical debut. Wilson began developing the story twenty years
ago alongside his brother Billy, who passed away from an accidental overdose in 2005.
He was 32 years old. Rather than abandon the project, Wilson carried it forward — and

carried Billy with it, writing him into the novel as a character who refuses to stay dead,
who still tells bad jokes at the worst possible moment, and who represents everything
the book is actually about. Three days after Wilson completed the final manuscript, his
fiancée Paula Canales passed away on October 28th, 2025. She was 35 years old. She
had been walking their dog when she collapsed from blood clots. She had believed in
the book every day she was alive. The Echo Thief is dedicated to both of them.
What sets this release apart in the crowded cyberpunk market is its unlikely authenticity.
Former Gambino underboss sammy Gravano appears as a character in the trilogy with his full permission. A Life That Earned This Story
Wilson's path to publication is as unlikely as the book itself. He spent years managing
snow plowing and paving operations for the Salt Lake City Street Department. He lost
nearly everything to prescription pain killers. He lived in his vehicle. He got clean. And
somewhere in the middle of all of it, he kept writing. The Echo Thief is available now on Amazon in paperback and eBook formats. Book Two, 3:47, is available March 17 2026.
