Homeschool of 1 Launches Free Online Trivia Games for Kids and Teens
S For Story/10700564
New browser-based trivia collection gives families and teachers a no-prep way to test knowledge across history, science, geography, sports, entertainment and more.
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - s4story -- Homeschool of 1 has launched a growing collection of free online trivia games for kids and teens, offering a simple way to combine learning and fun without worksheets, printing or account sign-ups.
The new collection includes trivia covering American and European history, world and U.S. geography, financial literacy, the human body, the solar system, weather, life cycles, animals and Greek mythology.
Kids can also test their knowledge with football and soccer trivia, while less educational options include movies, music, Star Wars and pirates. Seasonal games currently include Memorial Day, July 4th and summer trivia, with additional topics planned throughout the year.

Each game can be played directly in a web browser on a computer, tablet or phone. Players answer multiple-choice questions online and receive their results at the end, making the games suitable for independent use or playing together.
"I've always liked finding ways to make learning feel less like another assignment," said Clare Brown, founder of Homeschool of 1. "Trivia works particularly well with older kids because they can test what they know without feeling as though they've been handed another worksheet. It also gets surprisingly competitive in our house."
Teachers can use the games for lesson review, classroom brain breaks and early finishers, while families can use them for game nights, rainy days or simply to challenge each other.

New topics will continue to be added to the collection throughout the year.
