GREEN BAY, Wis. - s4story -- Sharing the experiences that come with retirement from a demanding corporate career is the basis of a book by first-time author Paul Novotny, who turned his correspondence with family and friends into a memoir entitled Letters from Afar: Memories and Musings from the Road (M&B Global Solutions Inc.)

Novotny fashioned a successful career as a financial executive with a large cheese supplier in Wisconsin (of course). The lifelong Green Bay resident and his wife decided to spread their wings after his retirement, hitting the road in a newly purchased recreational vehicle and pursuing a lifestyle not feasible during his working career.

Describing Novotny as an extrovert who enjoys discovering people and places outside of his Wisconsin home base is an understatement.
